I've seen this data at least 5 times already. The fact that some junior writer at Slate repackaged it is of interest to no one.

Yes, I have some friends that teach at T4 law schools. They told me that at their respective schools, applications are down by 20%. Frankly, considering the economic outlook for T4 grads, I am surprised it isn't down even more.
