Hey Everyone--
First of all, I know I'm applying late in the cycle, blah blah blah, but I do have a question I'm hoping people can help me address. One of my two recommendations has been received and processed by LSAC and I have confirmation that they received the second one on Wednesday at around 10am (I sent by UPS) to the attention of the LOR Department (LSAC staff told me to do this). Now, this second recommendation has not yet been processed, and I'm still holding out hope that it will be processed by the end of the day, but does anyone know what will happen if I submit applications with the LOR assigned, but not yet processed? Presumably, it will be processed by March 1 at the the absolute latest ...but how does this work?

Re: LOR Not Yet Received Question
I had the exact same problem. One of my LOR people went to peru for a month and forgot to send in the letter. I didn't want to submit any applications because I was worried they would be rejected. It actually caused me to miss the deadline for cornell and a few other schools. On the 15th it still hadn't been processed and I wasn't going to miss out on even more schools. So I submitted. went off without a hitch. Really pissed me off. They just send in the application. The school then requests your file, and if you dont have the neccessary letters you get an email telling you to send them in so the issue can be resolved. Once they do show up they get sent off, no problems. I would have applied a month ago if I had known that! Just to get my name in the door. Obviously you wont go complete until the letter arrives.
