Is it typical for law schools to reject applicants but state that they are allowed to have their rejection reconsiderated at a later date?
If not then which schools do this (if any)?

Re: Law School Reconsideration of Rejection Decision
I know Baylor rejects people, but offers them a free "reapply" link via email for another semester (they have fall, spring, summer starts). Sometimes they even will say you are rejected for fall, but guaranteed admission for spring or summer if you want that instead.

--I have not seen this is my cycle. Actually, I know that many schools have something in the fine print that says they don't allow reconsideration after rejection for the same cycle.

Is this an indication of a borderline applicant, and wouldn't be offered to those with shit stats?

This probably isn't much help, but I have a relative who was rejected by Tulane after submitting her application (in the 1970s). She sent them a biting letter telling them how much of a mistake they made. Upon receipt of the letter, Tulane reconsidered and admitted her.

lol I know, that is why it probably isn't too reassuring. But, it's worth putting out there because hey, ya never know and it couldn't hurt to try if you've already been rejected.Linksys wrote:lolOnlyLivingBoyinNY wrote:This probably isn't much help, but I have a relative who was rejected by Tulane after submitting her application (in the 1970s).
