HELP! Paying $$ for this CAS thing? Deadlines? ARRRGGGHHHH!!
So, took the LSAT, I have my LORs lined up, personal statement forthcoming, resumes, addendums, etc, but as I'm applying, I see on LSAC.org that in my cart a charge of 124$ for the Credential Assembly Service??? The question is whether this is needed to apply? It also says to allow a few weeks to clear? My deadlines are in March...Also, I'm waiting for my Feb11 score, which was a retake..do I need to alert the schools of the forthcoming score of the retake? thanks...

Yes, CAS is required. This late you should probably just wait and apply next year for 2012 admission.
And for me CAS was available within a few days.

you most definitely need CAS. don't know about retakes.
also, IIRC, LORs need to be submitted through CAS...and you need to print out a form from CAS, sign it, and have your recommenders send it in with their letters, to LSAC.
not sure if you're gonna pull this one off, pal

If you're using the phrase "pulling off," that's a sign you're probably better off waiting until next cycle...
