Disciplinary Disclosure Question

Post by happyshapy » Wed Jan 05, 2011 1:20 pm

So my freshman year I got written up by my RA because my roommate was smoking weed. There was never any further action taken because I was found NOT RESPONSIBLE, not guilty, for the incident. I called my schools center for student ethics to find out what would be on my record if it got pulled. They told me that they could see the incident online however if anyone was asked to pull a hard copy of my record they would be told that they were destroyed since I graduated.

The only reason I'm iffy about disclosing it is because I was found not responsible but I have no way to prove that since my school destroys those records.

Also I'm not sure this even counts as disciplinary action or sanction because there was none taken since I wasn't found guilty.

What do you guys think?

Not a big deal so you might as well disclose.

Yeah I'm just nervous that I can't prove that I was found not guilty. It's so minor that I can't imagine it being an issue for the C and F for the bar...
