about deferral

Post by idoubtit » Mon Jan 03, 2011 7:22 pm

Hi friends, I just got some offers from some schools, and am wondering if usually the school allows deferral request.
for some reason, I cannot attend this year, and I wanna defer one year.
anyone who has successfully done it before?
thanks so much for your input:)

Some do. You have to put in a request for a deferral with an explanation why you are asking for one. You won't really know whether they will grant it until you ask.

it can be done but dont expect any money to transfer over to the next year, they usually give the scholly to someone else.

Why don't you just call them instead of asking for advice on these unnamed schools here bro
