I know many schools offer dual degree programs for a JD/MBA or JD/MS, but what I wanted to know is is possible to do a JD/BS? I've recently decided that intellectual property law is where I want to end up. However, I didn't know this until recently. So I will be graduating my undergrad with degrees in math and English, but I will need some sort of degree in an area such as physics, chemistry, biology, or engineering to work in this field.
My question is can I take courses in one of these fields as a JD student to work towards my JD and a BS, or will I have to get my BS after I get my JD?
Also I think I'm going to be going to law school at BU if that helps.

Re: Dual degree programs
i don't know a lot about dual degree programs.
i'm pretty sure you can take classes outside of the law school while you're earning your J.D. i also think that you won't need to get a B.S. b/c you probably could get a M.S. in about the same time and effort. i just haven't heard of anyone getting a J.D. and B.S. at the same time...
also, if you're probably going to BU, just ask BU.
