USC LSAT/college transcript question - help!?

Post by serena5342 » Tue Nov 09, 2010 9:32 am

Hi everyone,

The Univ. Southern California has a supplemental question: "Does your LSAT score and/or college transcript accurately represent your past performance or future promise? If not, please provide an explanation in a separate addendum" and you need to check either YES or NO.

I have an 80th percentile LSAT score (low 160s) but a 3.9+ GPA. I don't think the LSAT score represents my future potential, but I am not planning on retaking until the next admissions cycle (if need be).

Do I check yes and keep my fingers crossed, or check no and write a brief addendum asking that they consider my GPA more heavily... even though I don't really have an specific reasons....?

Thanks for your help!!!

That question is just the space for a GPA/LSAT addendum. If you have a legit reason for poor performance then you can possibly list it, but without a better score to show that the first one is unrepresentative, it won't matter anyways.

I would say USC is a reach for you.
