165 to 170 addendum worthy?

Post by FlamingCow » Tue Nov 02, 2010 12:35 pm

Should I write an addendum for a 165 (June disaster) to 170 (October) jump? I don't have a real excuse other than that I burned out right before the June test. I averaged about a 171-172 on my PTs, so I think the 170 is a better indicator (duh). I also moved across the country for a job two weeks before the October test, so I'm kind of proud I still pulled that off. Is it worth addressing?

No need. Addenda are for huge jumps. 5 pts is not abnormal.

no....you are the classic person who should not be writing an addendum--you have no valid reason that is addendum-worthy

Worry not. The number whores that are an admission officers will notice your 170. Be proud of it and trust the (incredibly screwed up) system.
