Index score

Postby bjc314 » Mon Nov 01, 2010 2:47 pm

I'm splitting, with a 3.95 gpa, and a 161. While my lsat is painfully below the medians at many schools where I want to apply, my gpa still gives me a decent index score at many of these schools. How much do schools rely on indexes v. LSAT alone?

I feel (this is just a personal opinion with no basis whatsoever) schools use index scores to sort/screen the overall pool and nothing more.
