LSAT Addendum or Not?

Post by $1.99 » Sun Oct 31, 2010 5:20 pm

My first score was a 171, then I cancelled one test, my recent score was a 161 because of nerves. Should I write an addendum, and if so, what should I say?

absolutely write an addendum
can't just say nerves, because they're going to wonder why. Explain honestly the to the best of your ability and succinctly how your mental condition affected you and the mistake... like no sleep? more caffeine than usual? felt ill during test?
then finish with why this makes you feel that your first score is more indicative of your abilities and your second is just an aberration.
good luck.
