Worth doing a GPA Addendum?

I think an addendum would only be appropriate for a 3.6 GPA in light of a real catastrophe. "I joined too many clubs" is really not addendum worthy, and honestly, it's not a whole lot better than "I drank too much." The bottom line is that you didn't know how to manage your time well, and now you do. That's an important part of college for lots of people.

3.6 or 2.6--i joined too many clubs is not addendum worthy

just like my complaint about the rash of 2-page resume posts, why do people with sub-par grades (not OP here obviously) all think they are worthy of a gpa addendum--if you didnt study/put the necesssary work in/had other non-medical or family priorities, its your own fault you didnt do well, and you dont need an addendum to explain that. the number says it all

if i were an adcomm, which i'm clearly not, i'd throw your app away simply for including such a ridiculous addendum
