2 vs. 3 LORs?

Post by lyman03 » Tue Oct 19, 2010 5:14 pm

Anybody know which, if any, T14 schools really do NOT like you to send more than 2 LORs? I currently have 3, 2 of which are academic (profs in two different depts from UG, both letters will be pretty strong) and 1 is a former boss (I have 7 years WE so I think it's important for me to use that letter). My plan was to submit all 3 to each school but will any schools dislike an extra letter? I could drop one of the academic LORs if necessary.

They should all accept 3. UCLA only allows 2.
