I used to be a professional ping pong player...

I'm horrible now. Haven't played in years. Right now the description for the job (which happened to coincide with a different job... It was weird) on my Berkeley resume reads:

Assisted in operations of traveling ecological fair. Also, during [dates], exhibition table tennis player and handler of “Team Buddig USA,” an exhibition table tennis team sponsored by Carl Buddig Meats.

I kind of think it's worth mentioning on the off-chance it would make an adcomm laugh. My softs are very strong and so are my numbers.

Seriously, this is on my resume right now.

I have a whole section/heading on my resume for my professional competition days. I don't know how involved is ping pong, but my sport required an enormous amount of effort, and I am proud of my accomplishments. It certainly was more of a challenge and required more work than my day job, so it's on my resume. (And not just in passing)
