Duke Priority Track numbers
Anyone know the approximate cut off numbers for Duke Priority Track?? Im going to email them about requesting that I get it (I took the LSAT last december and not sure if they will automatically look at me for this cycle) and I dont want to be asking for something w/o having the numbers.

If the numbers in your profile are what you have, then you absolutely have the numbers for it.
I got the impression that 169+ and 3.6+ got PT invites??

Re: Duke Priority Track numbers
I'm waiting on my LSAT scores for June, but with a 3.9x (closer to 4.0 than 3.9) GPA, what are my chances of getting a PT with a 165, 166, or 167 (RC killed me on the test)
Does the 3.9x make up for a few points on the LSAT, or is anything short of, say, a 167 not going to cut it?
I realize that you can email them and request the PT (correct?), and that they may be a little more subjective in that regard (rather than strictly numbers based), but I'm just wondering what my chances would be with a LSAT of, say, 165-167?

This is a decently common practice. I emailed about PT, they gave it to me, and then they accepted me.hiromoto45 wrote:A little presumptuous are we?tkgrrett wrote:Anyone know the approximate cut off numbers for Duke Priority Track?? Congrats... Im also curious about Duke PT, being from NC its one of my targets. How did you go about this exactly (when, who did you email, etc.)? And do you have any info on typical numbers (and what your numbers were if you dont mind my asking?). They dont seem to reveal much about who gets asked...5ky wrote:This is a decently common practice. Bump... can anyone who got PT or know someone who did please post numbers?
I guess I'm going to e-mail them in late August if I haven't heard yet, since I believe the first round of PT starts early September?

Same here; Duke is my first choice and would love to get a PT from them.

Does anyone know when exactly Duke sends out PT invites? Do they send them all at once?

I got a PT invite (and then acceptance) with slightly sub-25% GPA and slightly above-75% LSAT.

Had above 75th numbers for both, didn't get PT at first... politely emailed the Dean of Admissions and he very kindly put me on the PT track. Admitted around 10 days later, don't remember for sure.

3.88 168 and would absolutely love to go to Duke... do I have a shot at a PT invite? When do they get sent, and are my numbers a little too low to request if not invited?

Your profile lists your LSDAS GPA as 3.2?Nom Sawyer wrote:Had above 75th numbers for both, didn't get PT at first... politely emailed the Dean of Admissions and he very kindly put me on the PT track. Admitted around 10 days later, don't remember for sure.

Does anyone know when priority track invites usually go out? Do they do them all in one batch or are their waves?

170/3.6, got one 2 days after scores came out, and was accepted. Ironically, because my score was held up by LSAC, I got my PT invite before I got my LSAT score.etlien wrote:Does anyone know when priority track invites usually go out? Do they do them all in one batch or are their waves?

Do you mind saying when you sat the LSAT? I just sat the June one and I am guessing they don't send out PT invites until the app season starts in Sept earliest...thechee wrote:170/3.6, got one 2 days after scores came out, and was accepted. Re: Duke Priority Track numbers
I took the LSAT in September 2009. I could be wrong, but I think a bunch of people that took the June test got their PT offers in late August/early September. As long as you are registered for CRS, and you have the numbers, you should be in the running for PT.

Because they knew you wouldnt come to the south. But the thought of you with southern twang in your voice is very appealing.booyakasha wrote:I was 175/3.6x and didn'tMoxie wrote:If the numbers in your profile are what you have, then you absolutely have the numbers for it.

If it provides anyone here a sense of calm — I asked Duke admissions about this, they should be making the first PT invitations over the next few weeks.

Re: Duke Priority Track numbers
Would it be redundant or useless to apply ED through the PT?
(I'm guessing it most likely is if you get invited, but not if you request it?)
