Reapplying - advice

Post by tigerlilly17 » Sat Mar 13, 2010 10:02 am

I plan on putting law school off one year and re-applying next cycle. Can I use the LORs from this cycle again next year? They were written and submitted in October.

I'm a re-applicant and will be going to school this fall. Yes, you can reuse LORs when you reapply for next year. I would check with any of the schools that you will have applied to 2x and just check to make sure that they don't require a fresh set of LORs. Personally, I got 2 new LORs when I reapplied and then kind of mixed and matched the ones that I thought would work best for each school. If you have someone that you know will write a LOR that will help you, I would go and get it just to add something new to those schools that you are going to have applied to 2x. Hope this helps.

I think using the same LOR will be fine. I would tweak the essays a bit though.
