Does student mail from law school count for anything...?

Post by yung » Thu Feb 18, 2010 4:30 pm

Hey guys I recently received a letter from SALSA and the east Asian student association at Columbia law school urging me to apply an etc. My stats are definitely not Columbia stats... so I am wondering if it increases my chance at all?
Also, I got a fee waiver from Columbia while my friend who had much higher GPA and LSAT did not...have you guys ever heard of this happening?

I doubt it counts for much, but if it is only going to cost you $12 to apply, why not? Seems like no risk for a potentially huge reward.

sigh... I figured it didn't mean anything haha
As for applying, I was already going to apply regardless of the fee waiver or not
