Deadline is coming up should I submit apps w/o last LOR?
My professor hasn't submitted my final LOR. I have everything else completed. Searched the forum but no one seems to have this same problem. Will the schools wait until the LOR is received? Or should I just wait?

Is it an extra LOR or a required one?
Also, did you have the professor fax or mail it? If mailed, you should try faxing, because they usually get processed within a day.

I believe she mailed it. It is is a required LOR. Does that make a difference?

Depending on the school, they may not look at your application until it is complete. Which means all materials must be available including the LOR. You can also ask your teacher to fax the letter. This is what one of my recommenders did and it got posted to my account on the same day. Good luck!MsBigBad wrote:I believe she mailed it. It is is a required LOR. Does that make a difference?

Fax, as said by previous posters.
One option-what I did-is to ask the professor what day the letter was sent out. Express concern that the LOR may have been lost and state you will stop by with an overnight envelope to ensure one gets in if a fax is unavailable. That got me an overnight tracking number the next day.

There is a difference for some schools. Some schools will consider a two LOR application complete even if you have an assigned but unprocessed third LORMsBigBad wrote:I believe she mailed it. It is is a required LOR. Does that make a difference?
