Waitlisted optional essay topic - thoughts?

Post by nickturner922 » Tue Jan 26, 2010 5:19 pm

I've been waitlisted at one of my top choices. They invited me to submit one of their optional essays, and I'm trying to decide what to write. I think I'm settled on the one or two achievements I'm most proud of as my topic - I would like to write about two. The first is owning my own business and the second is my endeavors as an endurance athlete (long distance running and long distance triathlons).

Any thoughts on how weak the second topic is? Is that something they would even care about? I would expound on the vast amounts of time, focus, energy and determination it took to reach the top of my game in the endurance world blah blah blah.......

Thanks!

i think the second topic is interesting and you could relate it to how you address your schoolwork/work/etc
