Diversity statement
I am an Asian female. I was sexually assaulted when I was a kid and I am the first -generation as well. So it is hard for me to decide whether I should write a diversity statement. Do you guys have any advice? Thanks.

Re: Diversity statement
Welcome to TLS.
Yes, by all means, you can/should write a Diversity Statement. This may help boost you around the edges (as a "soft"), but be aware that you should still expect to perform roughly in line with your LSAC GPA/LSAT (as predicted by MyLSN). You won't be considered an underrepresented minority for law school admissions purposes.
