should i do a why Penn?

Post by lhalpern » Sat Dec 03, 2011 5:58 pm

My PS is already tailored to answer why Penn - i talk about interdisciplinariness and graduate study in other areas and specifically added in the Penn version the words "studying law at the university of pennsylvania will allow me to accomplish these goals."

I know Penn likes they why Penn essay, but is it necessary in my case? I was thinking of doing one of the other supplements instead (the work of literature one)

Any thoughts on this?

Also - same case for Michigan although I already submitted that app so I guess not much I can do.

If your ps addresses why Penn is a good fit, you'll probably gain more from doing one or two of the other supplements, unless you can think of something specific that is not in your PS and could be discussed as a part of your "five year plan," which is the actual prompt for "why Penn."
