I actually rooted against UCLA in the second round, as they were facing Big XII non-Texas opposition. I love UCLA's style, as Ben Howland is among the finest in the nation. But I'll probably just be listening to Sooner games at the apartment most of the time. I'll probably go to volleyball and women's hoops, but when OU plays, that's the end of the discussion.

I found out a couple of weeks after I was admitted. I hounded the admissions office though until I found out.
don't be afraid to be aggressive. Hey, who all was up for intramural football and basketball? Cuz I definitely am.

I think I might abide by my friend Quintin's rule as far as fandom goes:

If you're undergrad institution (Oberlin for him, Manhattan School of Music for me) didn't have a proper sports program then your law school becomes your "sports alma mater". So in that case.. Go Bruins.

I wonder how many people will actually be at this thing? I don't think anybody other than LA admits will travel out for it, unless some folks are planning on looking for housing anyway. Seems like it could be a lot of welcomers and not many welcomees......

The Wednesday of finals week (for the undergrads) students run in their underwear along a specific route.

So have you been to the "largest outdoor cocktail party" in Jax? That is a fun time!! I have a lot of family who graduated from UGA so I won't hold it against you

Come on, future Bruins! We've got three already and always looking for more to get their bodies into non-awful shape. What I'm envisioning here is basically a group of folks who work out together when possible/harass each other to implement their individual fitness plan. So, if you're worried that you can't run a fifteen minute 5K and won't fit in, that's not what we're doing. If all you want to do is walk for a half hour a day or do Pilates or whatever, you'll still fit in. Announce yourselves loud and proud!
