Hey if there aren't any single girls in the law school there is always the undergraduate grounds (not campus, eventhough I usually say campus)
Cantwiat.... Since you are all of those things I just assumed you fell in the same "taken" category

Cantwait -- did you submit your BoA stuff first or the thing to UVA? Do we have to print it and mail it to UVA (it says return to financial aid, blah blah blah, but I would assume that they get it online? Confused...

I submitted the thing to UVA online, I'm not going to fill out BofA's stuff until this weekend.sialeeds wrote:Super smooth!!!!doublehoo22 wrote:Cantwiat.... Since you are all of those things I just assumed you fell the same "taken" category

Perhaps I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be, but I don't understand what you mean when you say "went with BofA". How exactly did you do that? Where is the application itself for the GradPlus loan? I may totally be missing the link. Thanks for helping; sorry to have so many questions.cantwaitforuva wrote:That is exactly what mine says, but if you go to the fin aid page it says BofA is their preferred lender for GradPlus as well, so I went with BofAMissVirginia wrote:Lender Code (if GradPlus): Guarantor Code (if GradPlus): It's the part in bold I'm unclear about. The instructions say: "If you are choosing a GradPlus Loan, please include the required lender code and guarantor code." So CantWait, you just filled in Bank of America's info? Did you do a separate GradPlus application?cantwaitforuva wrote:They gave me the same BofA option for GradPlus and I took that. So no need to find the codes and such
And are you 22-24 year olds going to flirt this incessantly during law school?
If so, and if I can finance Virginia, I'll be doing this non-stop for three years:

I'd say it's much easier to do online than in person, especially when that person has a boyfriend or girlfriend....not that any of us have girlfriends (grumble grumble
).

It's definitely more of an online thing. I'm pretty flirtatious with my guy friends if they are too, but it's purely innocent.MissVirginia wrote:

Ok I just sent this to MissVirginia, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else is having problems.
The actual applications for BofA Stafford and Plus loans are accessed from the UVA website. Once you sign in and go to Financial Aid Status, click on Award Information. Then click on Financial Aid Award Instructions. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Information and links to Bank of America loan applications." Once you scroll down BofAs page you will see little links to apply for stafford loans and a separate link to apply for GradPlus loans.

Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
I'd written this earlier - but just because BoA is the only lender now does NOT mean you have to choose them. UVA is choosing an additional lender this summer and that might change the incentives which are offered. You can also shop around to all lenders (non-preferred) - some of them might offer you a good deal too! You probably wouldn't buy a car without looking around, so don't just sign up for a loan without researching options either. BoA might still be the best - but at least you'll know that you chose the best option!cantwaitforuva wrote:Ok I just sent this to MissVirginia, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else is having problems.

It's been a good few hours since I last posted. Of course, y'all have collectively spawned three more pages since then. So saying "hi" seemed the thing to do.

Hi!

Ackcova -- I completely agree. But after looking around a bit, BoA looks as good as any (and better than some of the ones I looked at). I don't see any disadvantage with them, so I decided to go with them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
