Any idea where the course websites are? One of my assignments is on the course website (Civil Procedure, sections D,E,L), but I have no idea where it is...

"My courses" just lists what classes you're registered in, the times and locations of where they meet, and the professors' e-mails. I feel like I am missing something here...

Someone said that they would eventually link under the "Current Courses" section, where you can currently find the syllabus for certain classes. I cannot confirm this, but it makes sense.

one of my courses has a link right to the class (civ pro in section g), but none of the other ones are there... i would assume they just havent been posted yet, but I dont know if those teachers plan on using the websites

Re: University of Virginia School of Law 2011
I just went on to ask this question! I'm in section L and I feel like I'm missing something. On "My Courses" only my Torts class even has a link, except that the site it links to is functionally blank. I tried searching the professors' home pages and clicking on Current Courses.... still no luck. I did find the Civ Pro syllabus for Mitchell at http://lawnotes2.law.virginia.edu/lawwe ... 9700535405 in case that is helpful at all.sialeeds wrote:Any idea where the course websites are? Also, where is everyone else finding whether computers are allowed? Syllabi?

I was struggling with the same question, but you can go to the following link to see a list of all courses offered. If the syllabus is posted you will see a link on the word "Syllabus": http://lawnotes2.law.virginia.edu/lawwe ... Expand=1#1
Also if you go on your courses in LawWeb and they are highlighted, chances are professors posted some materials there.
Hope it helps.

Thanks
Unfortunately, only one of my profs has a syllabus listed under Current Courses, so I guess I'll just have to wait until they post something or on day 1 to see about the course websites and computer thing. I'm trying to minimize the likelihood of a Legally Blonde moment (a la 'Um, I wasn't aware we had an assignment') in these first few days cuz lord knows, I'm going to have a few anyway.
Where's everyone going out tonight??

So, where are people going tonight? I got into town early this morning and I'm pretty tired, but my TV doesn't arrive for another two days and I somehow don't feel like gambling on the internet, so I should probably get out of the apartment. After all, it's Friday, I ain't got no job, and I ain't got shit to do.

Wow, I'm so old and boring...I just read stories to my son and now I'm going to bed.
By the way, thank you to whoever gave him the baseball at the softball fields on Wednesday. He had a lot of fun smacking at it with his "lightsaber."

Yeah. Lets see if you feel the same way when I turn cutthroat and I give him candy and a puppy right before finals.OnceLost wrote:Wow, I'm so old and boring...I just read stories to my son and now I'm going to bed.

i got back early cuz i needed a break, but i'd say our get together was happening. prob 50 people crammed into a 2br apartment. killed 1/2 handle of captain, 1/2 handle of cuervo, and all my beers. all in all, lot of mingling. it was pretty nice. hope to see the rest of you out tomorrow night.
