Dumb question

If a school website says a certain scholarship can be awarded of up to $25,000, does that typically mean in total (spread out over 3 years) or annually? Will this be cleared up after I am accepted, or will I have to ask?

I would just ask them, but I've already been bothering the admissions committee a lot and I do not want to get annoying.

Usually they are quoted per year. You should get a breakdown after admitted that makes it more clear.
