URM Classification

Postby mmart207 » Mon Jul 31, 2017 12:47 am

Hey everyone! I have read through several posts that claim that the "boost" for Puerto Ricans is larger than the "boost" for Mexicans when it comes to URMs and admissions. I am half Puerto Rican and half Mexican. Should I just classify myself as Puerto Rican on my applications? Or are people wrong about there being a difference in the "boost" received by both?

I can't answer your second question but if I were you I would identify as both on the application
