Oct. or Dec. LSAT?

Post by mbarrita » Fri Sep 28, 2012 12:10 am

URM MA Male 3.5 GPA. Currently scoring 158-161. Original diagnostic score was 142. I think I could hit 165+ by Dec. Registered for Oct. Trying to apply early for rolling admissions? Should I wait to take it in December with presumably a better score? OR take now and retake if not happy with score, but will have rolling admissions? Does the December LSAT put me at a disadvantage?

Based on what I've read, decisions for urms are often times not made until April. I would hold off and study for the next 2 months so you can feel confident going into the test. Shoot for 165+ bud, you can easily hit that with the amount of time you have.

December for sure if you can get that 165+. You'll open up a lot more doors.

I am in the same boat! I don't know what to do as well.
