160/3.01 AA Male

Post by Goonar » Wed Jan 04, 2012 7:35 pm

Just got Dec '11 score and was pretty depressed to see a 160. Regardless, I think I'll apply this cycle just to see what happens.

Strong PS and DS. Ok LoR's. Average Softs. Above average work exp.

Was planning on applying CCN down to Emory. Probably kick CCN out of the bucket and do Mich onwards.

Chance me on these schools please (top choices in no specific order):
USC
UCLA
Georgetown
BU
BC
Northwestern
UT Austin
Cornell

Any t14 I should apply to without a doubt?

Depending on the result of this cycle, I'll have to decide whether to retake and wait for next cycle.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

With those numbers it is hard to say either way. 160 is a solid score especially for AA male. Your competitve at BC and BU, and the work experience might help you w Northwestern. Be bold man, If things don't turn out your way there is always next year.
