Does anyone outside of UC administrators and Hastings professors think UC Hastings should still exist?

I'm an alum, I agree that it should no longer exist. But there's this provision in the school's charter that says if the Regents close it down, they have to repay the Hastings family the initial $100k donation, plus interest. Which after 150 years, is a 8 or 9 figure total.

In any event, they are doubling down and sinking more money into this sinking ship. Facilities do not bring in quality students, nor do they translate to USNWR success. Only job placement can improve Hastings' lot, and it is failing massively on that front.
