Duke ($) v Penn v NYU
Wanna live in DC after graduation - doesn't matter how prestigious the law firm. Worth it to take on debt at Penn/NYU for the better name?

Provided that's a true cost of attendance, with coa, tuition increases etc, duke no question.

What does that mean, "want to live in DC after graduation?" What are your career goals?
DC is hard to get from any school. Firms are very, very grade-conscious, PDS is hard to crack for defenders, and the U.S. Attorney's office does all prosecution (read: no local PD or DA office scrambling for bodies).
Only HYS have "name" power in DC, so you should go to Duke.
FWIW, UVA and Georgetown place the highest percentage of their grads in DC, although I'm not really sure what they do there.

duke
i can't believe someone was dumb enough to vote sticker
op you should keep negotiating, get offers from penn/nyu and use them for more leverage w duke
given your listed coa, you have a 100k scholly from duke
which means you'll probably have money at penn/nyu if you ask for it

Duke. But I'm glad I wasn't the only one who voted for total cost of attendance
