cornell vs duke vs UVA
my choices are-
duke with 75K
cornell with 75K
UVA with 60k
I'm having trouble deciding btw these 3 options and any advice would be appreciated
I am not a US citizen and therefore would be looking at biglaw primarily. East coast/northeast would be preferable. All 3 seem very similar (except for location) with regards to biglaw placement-are there any other differences I'm missing??
I have no ties to south but some to northeast... this makes me think cornell would perhaps be better but UVA and Duke seem to be held in slightly higher regard and have better course selection etc.

Whichever you prefer. Three good choices for your goals.

Pick the best fit and go there for 3 years.
If you just care about cost/prospects, go to Duke but there really isn't any difference

I'm curious why your title says Michigan, but your option has UVA in its place. I would say your choices should come down to Duke v. Virginia. Cornell's 75K scholly is good, but tuition is over 57K this coming year, plus Duke has cheap cost of living and high quality of life, and I believe so does Charlotteville.

Coa will be pretty close for all three. You could try to negotiate more from Duke or Cornell, but as it stands go with the one you like the most. All place similarly.

Look at CoA then Duke wins. Not sure about a non-citizens though, I would suggest contacting both career offices and seeing what they can do for you. Clerkships are out for you and that is the major advantage Duke has over Cornell.

Re: cornell vs duke vs UVA
thanks everyone for the advice!
apologies re mich in original title-I have similar offer from mich and was considering adding it to thread but decided against it (they are not really a serious consideration due to significantly lower biglaw %) and forgot to remove it from title

UVA or Duke depending on which school you liked better when you visited.
