Market Specific Employment Resources

Post by manti5 » Mon Feb 04, 2013 4:46 pm

I'm looking to work in the Chicago market and will likely be selecting between NYU and Northwestern (waiting on Columbia and Chicago). I am wondering where to look to find the GPA's that firms in the Chicago area will be looking for to hire from each of these schools. I've heard general things ("NYU doesn't have much of a presence in Chicago so go with NU" and "regardless of location, prestige matters") But can't find any strong data to back any of this up.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?
