Wow, 23% decline from SH. I guess Im not surprised but nice to see that their scam isnt going as well as the brochures indicate.stillwater wrote:Nice to see SH trim some fat. Now some more would be welcome.Tls2012 wrote:Here are a few more I found:

Re: Class sizes and medians (c/o 2015)
Judging from the applicants thread from this year, W & L threw out serious amounts of cash this past cycle. I feel like applicants took them up on it. Also, they randomly were ranked in the top 25 this year, which (unfortunately) means a lot for applicants.stillwater wrote:Huskies13! wrote:W&L
188 (121) (55% increase!!!)

Wow.
ASU
152 (171) (-11%)
163 (162)
3.65 (3.62)
ASU has increased median LSAT and GPA both of the last two years...not sure anyone else has done that...
Any word on BC, BU, UW, or Emory anyone? I know UW jumped last year...can they do it again?
I wonder how W&L so badly overshot its target class size.

Yeah, they use splitters heavily. I'm not sure of your numbers, but a 170+/3.4+ ED is practically autoadmit at Penn.VUSisterRayVU wrote:Penn uses splitters heavily? I don't see the money flowing this upcoming cycle at majority of places that did that to protect medians in '11/'12 cycle.top30man wrote:Judging from the applicants thread from this year, W & L threw out serious amounts of cash this past cycle. Yeah, it will be interesting to see what happens. However, I think any school that thinks last year was an exception is ignoring reality at great peril.Ruxin1 wrote:I don't see the money flowing this upcoming cycle at majority of places that did that to protect medians in '11/'12 cycle.top30man wrote: Judging from the applicants thread from this year, W & L threw out serious amounts of cash this past cycle. When do schools usually put up the new incoming class info, anyway? I keep checking this thread and their sites like a crazy person, daily.

GPA is lower, not going to predict LSAT but we'll see. Looks like I'll hopefully be riding a WL with a chance to get off it on the right side.KevinP wrote:Yeah, they use splitters heavily. I think it depends on how severe the split. Splitters got decent money in the t14 last year.TheThriller wrote:For splitters though it's not like we have that much of a choice....top30man wrote:Yeah I wouldnt ED this year.Ruxin1 wrote:Probably at Sticker. This is false, unless you think applications will be higher 2012-2013 than 2011-2012. In an environment where applications are declining take your sweet time on everything. Apply in June if you like.TheThriller wrote:For splitters though it's not like we have that much of a choice....top30man wrote:Yeah I wouldnt ED this year.Ruxin1 wrote:Probably at Sticker. Iowa: 155/180 (-25)
Found just by googling. I imagine more schools are starting to put up their entering class profiles
