Case (Full) vs GW ($$) vs NYU (Sticker)
So as you can see, I have a full ride to Case, 25k/yr to GW and nothing at NYU. I am from Cleveland and so I'm drawn to case, even if I realize its not nearly as good as NYU. GW is mostly because I love DC. Is NYU sticker better? I'm filing my appeal there today as well...

Please please please do not walk away from NYU. The life time earning difference will more than make up for the tuition.
Good luck negotiating for scholarships!

What a random array of options

unless the answer is "slip and fall in the 'Cleve" or "live under a bridge in DC," the answer is still NYU

Re: Case (Full) vs GW ($$) vs NYU (Sticker)
this thread is retarded. That is assuming u do not have an overwhelming desire for un/underemployment in a shit-hole for a state or high risk for failure in an over saturated legal market that happens to be the hardest to crack (where you will be behind a minimum of 14 schools). The mere existence of this thread demonstrates the lack of research you have done into your options. I.e. your likely lack of a time spent on this website.
Did you not apply to Cornell/GULC/Northwestern... if you are concerned about mitigating debt, NYU admit credentials likely warrant scholarship money from other schools that aren't shit options.

Re: Case (Full) vs GW ($$) vs NYU (Sticker)
I think the answer has gotta be NYU, but...
If your #1 goal is to get a job in Cleveland, Case for free might not be insane. But you must realize that 1) biglaw odds are going to be slim and 2) your odds of ending up under- or unemployed are much higher at Case than they would be at NYU. I don't know much about the Cleveland market so I have no idea how the big firms there would view an NYU grad at say median, but obviously your odds of biglaw generally are much higher from NYU. So if biglaw is a goal, NYU wins. I also tend to think that by the time you get to 2L, people just want a firm job, and they're less concerned with geography.
Finally, cross off GW. Not worth the cost with your goals.

Case Western Reserve if you want to remain in Ohio after law school & since you are from Cleveland. NYU if seeking employment in NYC biglaw.

I think you should go to NYU. Case is overrated, even for Ohio markets (this comes from Case grads I know). If you want to be in Ohio, and had the numbers for GW and NYU, why wouldn't you apply to Ohio State? Ohio employers will take Ohio State grads over CWRU grads so that would be a hurdle for you.

I agree that OP's choices are a bit extreme: Case Western Reserve for free or NYU for $260,000 plus interest. OP should only pay full freight for Harvard & should have some less extreme options such as Ohio State or a T-18 with a partial scholarship.

There have to be some in-betweens. Fordham? OSU?
If you really like Cleveland (I do - it's not that crazy to enjoy living in Ohio) you can always go to NYU and return to Cleveland. You'll have the pick of the jobs before the Case grads fight for the scraps.
