If that's where you want to work, why not?

Depends on the T2. Some are fine, others are complete garbage in outcomes. You cannot rely on us news to give you a good impression of the job opportunities.

Pretty obvious it's not Brooklyn law school or similar.

If it's like New Mex or something for under 10K per year, then yeah

ETA: with the obvious caveat being that if you can retake and raise your LSAT by a few points then do that instead

U of Kansas is the best school in its state, a T2, but has horrific employment outcomes.

Yeah, the whole "best school in the state" thing is pointless if the state has no legal jobs to speak of.

that's the thing, best in the state at low cost seems to be a pretty good option, but when only half of the grads have legal jobs its a bit worrisome

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Also, this thread should be stickied so that whenever someone comes in to rant about how TLS is elitist, T14 or bust, etc., we can direct them here.

AMEN.

And I agree, it sounds like a pretty decent option. Just make sure you want to be a lawyer, and then hustle once you get to law school. Good luck.
