Ahh, just saw your other thread. I think you should definitely be aiming higher than the schools you proposed. Considering you're AA, you should add ~5-8 points to your LSAT when looking at where to apply. With your GPA, you should aim for splitter friendly schools. I'm not super familiar with which schools don't have hard GPA floors, especially for URMs, but maybe other posters can weigh in. URM cycles can be difficult to predict, so if you haven't already, check out the school admissions graphs on lawschoolnumbers.com, specifically for URM applicants. I'd also recommend looking through threads on the URM subforum to see how applicants from this cycle with similar stats fared. Both can give you a good idea of what will be possible with your numbers.
Also, have you considered retaking the LSAT? Even 5 points would make you a much stronger applicant for schools like WUSTL or UIUC, who are splitter friendly and give out scholarship money like candy.

Don't know how helpful this will be but thought I'd put down some thoughts about SD. The beach quality to stuff to do quality ratio cannot be beat. That being said the stuff to do could definitely use a little bit of help (beaches here are about as good as it gets). I think the main reason San Diego seems to be lacking "culturally" is due to the major lack of public transportation combined with the its spread-out-ness. If you could live at the beach and easily party up town I think people would think san diego was a lot better. Unfortunately you'll need a designated driver or cab to do this and it generally is more of a pain in the ass than you'd want to deal with. The city is really spread out. I've lived here 23 years (minus college) and my parents have live here for over 60. We are still finding random neighborhoods and great restaurants etc.. So yeah, tons of great stuff to do just way more of an effort than you would like to do it.
And like someone said before its definitely not super hippy at all. The city is super right wing politically and the military presence is huge. There are 3 (maybe more?) HUGE bases in the city and most places will have a fair bit of military dudes.
