What Happens If You Miss Deadline?

Are you rejected? Can they rescind your acceptance? Does this help or hurt their ranking versus withdrawing via e-mail?

It doesn't affect the acceptance rate or yield or rankings. Either way, it's +1 accepted and +0 attending.

But yes, your acceptance is null and void after today if you have an April 1 deadline. Your spot gets offered to someone else early next week.
