SCU or USF?

Post by sawshd » Fri Mar 25, 2011 10:49 pm

I was accepted at both SCU and USF. SCU offered me a $13,500 non-renewable scholarship and I could save money living at home (in Mountain View). USF offered me a $35,000 non-renewable scholarship. I would like to eventually work in San Francisco or in Los Angeles.

I have noticed SCU has been on the rise rankings-wise, but to what extent do job prospects differ for graduates of these two?

On the one hand, USF has offered me a substantial scholarship, but, on the other, SCU is ranked higher. Which should I choose?

I'm curious what you decided? I was offered the same scholarship at USF and $10,000 renewable at SCU. I'm leaning towards USF, or sticker at Hastings or Davis.
