Maybe, but as a 2L, the only thing that matters to me w/r/t rankings is that UVA/Boalt trolls STFU. I swear those two schools have the most trolls on TLS.rad law wrote:This will guarantee you at least 4 more blowies per year and approx. 50 more employers showing up at OCI. I'm confused and too lazy to search the thread. I thought they were ranking T3 and T4 this year?
EDIT- just looks like T3 (assuming 145 is the boundary)

Guys I know they say the V37 I am working at is less prestigious than a lot of the V25s out there, but many of those are sweaTTTshops, amirite??rad law wrote:Phew I was really about to /self there for a second, thanks for talking me off the ledge. I mean, rising one spot in the rankings should guarantee at least a FEW more employers at OCI. Maybe even rope in a few more V30s. I mean we're only getting V40s now.

Re: 2012 U.S. News Rankings (March 15th... It's official)
i'm looking over the medians from last year and this new ranking. so far i see that Berkeley dropped in its 25% in GPA and lsat (3.68 -> 3.64, 165 -> 162). Crazy it's still in T10.
NYU's 75% LSAT went up to 175 from last year's 173 and is now equal to that of Columbia.
ETA Columbia's LSAT %s went up by 0.01 point to 3.61 (25%) and 3.82 (75%)

Full disclosure: If I can get out of it with less than $140k in debt, I'm going to USC. Though I recognize its limitations, I really don't want to live anywhere else but between OC and SD.ArthurDigbySellers wrote:BURN! Any body have the specific percentiles especially Emory's? Also, anyone have an explanation for their big drop this year?

I don't know, but I'd stay away from that festering TTT. Firms are looking at the rankings and deciding not to OCI there as we speak.mavsman88 wrote:Any body have the specific percentiles especially Emory's? Also, anyone have an explanation for their big drop this year?
