Got offers from the three schools a while ago. But I went to a reception of Cardozo and people there told me that GW is no better than Cardozo and NYC offers much more job opportunities after graduation. Is it true? I have a Harvard Law friend and he told me that this year all his friends graduating from Cardozo are having a hard time finding jobs.
Plus I wanna do IP law in the future, and GW IP law is top 3 on the ranking list. But do employers really care about the ranking of specifities?
how about Hasting? I have no idea about the school, I only know locally it's gonna be hard to compete with the Stanford and Berkeley graduates...
BTW I am also on the wait list of Georgetown. Does anyone know usually when they would let u know about the final decision? I just hope it's not too late....
thanks for your kind input.

If I was in ur shoes, I'd go to GW. it seems ppl from GW might b able to get work in NYC, but I'd be surprised if ppl from Cardozo could get jobs in DC... As far as Hastings goes, youre gonna have a hard time coming back east if that's where you want to work.idoubtit wrote:Got offers from the three schools a while ago. That's just an opinion tho, I haven't googled any placement stats or anything.
Oh, and personally, I found Cardozo to be kind of rude and disorganized.
PM me if you want the details on my experience with them..

thanks so much, girlonfire, I really like GW too:)
BTW Cardozo offered me $16K scholarship.
but I guess if I cannot find a job when I graduate, this little scholarship means nothing...

lol DO NOT GO TO CARDOZO. 16 K should not be nearly enough to sway you from GW. Enjoy DC.

but given that GW is so expensive,,,,,so well-known for being extremely expensive, is it worth of the investment?

I would worry less if I am accepted by Georgetown. GW is still sort of a risky investment for me...

First off, no Dozo w/o a big scholarship.
GW for East Coast, UCH for West.
