Re: Cardozo
1) Retake
2) wrong board (see "choosing a law school")
3) if you ignore "1", go to Cardozo if you don't mind the debt

Moved to appropriate forum. OP, what are your career goals? If biglaw, I would consider a retake, as your odds of biglaw will be under 20%, and possibly much less, depending on how hiring rebounds. It is not impossible from Cardozo (know people who did it), but you need to know what the odds are. If PI, CUNY is not a highly ranked school, but it is an amazing value. I think it is under-appreciated around these parts, though it will not get you into a firm job, most likely.
Unlike most, I am not always against paying sticker for a school that isn't super highly ranked, provided said school can get you the kind of job you want (IE: you are not wedded to biglaw) and you can repay the debt via IBR, minimize that debt, or have some other repayment strategy in mind. Just know your school's true placement numbers and talk to as many current students as possible for a realistic look at conditions on the ground.
