NY/NJ area part-time programs

Post by rjs6 » Sat Nov 27, 2010 6:30 pm

I’m considering working for a company that offers 100% tuition reimbursement. If things work out, I'd like to get my JD part-time. I know that I’m interested in Fordham. Given location, it seems like other options are Rutgers-Newark, Yeshiva Cardozo, St. Johns, and Brooklyn. Opinions of these programs as well as other suggestions would be very helpful.

A bit about my background - Last spring I finished my BA at UVa after 2 years at age 20 (AP credit + overload). My GPA was a 3.48. I’m currently working on my MS in Commerce, also at UVa. I have not yet taken the LSAT, but am expecting to score in the mid 160's range.

Thanks!

I was an evening student last year at Fordham and I loved it. If you have questions, of course you can PM me. Fordham now prefers PT applicants who plan to work, and this will help you. Also, I hope you are having a lovely time in Cville. It's such a beautiful little city... Grats on your tuition reimbursement! Aim for a 164+, which is what I had. A 165 should make you safe so long as you are good to go complete the moment your score comes in.
