Visiting w/o admit but going abroad

Post by downsouth » Sun Aug 15, 2010 12:11 am

I'm going abroad for a year to get a master's degree, and so won't be able to visit any law schools after being admitted when they all have their preview weekends. Is it a good idea to go ahead and visit now while I've got some time (I don't start school abroad til late Sept), or not bother?

Visit now. It will help you get a better feel for the schools you are applying to. I can't see how it would hurt you, but only how it could help you weed out some of the schools you were considering, until you discovered that they're not a good fit.
