Hi everyone,
I desperately need your advice on choosing which law school to attend.
Tuition: Wisconsin-Madison out-of-state tution v. UH Law Center in-state tuition with 5k scholarship
Wisconsin is ranked better than UHLC, but I heard schools other than T14 are considered regional.
Is this really true? Would 28th and 60th in ranking not make any difference when getting job offers?
I am open to where I want to work after 3 years, but I have my family in Houston, which makes me hesitate to
choose one over the other. I don't want to regret, and say I should have gone to Wisconsin.
So should I choose Wisconsin-Madison for the ranking and nice school campus and building or UHLC for being close to my family and a big legal market as many say?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

If your family is in Houston and you are comfortable living and working there go to UH.
Wisconsin doesn't have a great probability of taking you back to Houston or Texas as a whole.
And yes once you get out of the T14 all schools are pretty regional, 15 to 20 are less so though.
