Deposit

Post by WeAintInTheRyeNoMore » Sat Mar 20, 2010 1:43 am

Hi. I'm about to put down the deposit for Washington Saint Louis.

Does defer mean defer to next year? Or can it mean wait until we hear from more schools?

Or is it okay to say, "I will attend" and then decide not to?

"Defer" generally means wait until next year.

As to saying you'll attend and then deciding not to, look at what the deposit form says you're agreeing to. You may forfeit your deposit if you decide not to go. If you do put down a deposit and change your mind, tell the school as soon as possible so someone else can get off the waiting list.
