Harvard, Yale, or NYU?

Post by watts » Tue Mar 16, 2010 10:58 am

Which would you attend for Big Law and why? I liked both NYU and Harvard, but have not made it out to New Haven yet (I just recently got in). I'm not sure where exactly I want to work, although likely in the NY/DC/BOS area for a while. What are the significant differences in job prospects (primarily Harvard vs Yale)? Does one provide an easer avenue into big law than the other? Any insights?

Yale FTW. It's gonna be a more enjoyable 3 years.

I say harvard but that is because I would rather live in Cambridge than in New haven. Visit both and see which you like (and no, NYU is not even in the picture).
