Third tier. It's fine is you are okay working in Sacramento long term and can graduate fairly high in the class. If you want even the bay area, you are going to have a tough road ahead.

You're going to get a lot of hate in this thread.

If you would like to live and work in Sacramento, it's a good choice. The regional reputation in Sacramento is solid, from what I understand, and it's not competing with many other places for the jobs in Sac, plus there is obviously access to government (although I have no idea their placement in government positions).

Cost of living is cheap, compared to the Bay Area.

I know a partner at a law firm here in DC that went to McGeorge. It took him like 10 years working in a DA office to get out of there tho. I think you'd be essentially stuck in Sacramento.

If you have any options in the second tier (T100), you might consider them over McGeorge at sticker.

Solid chance to work in Sac.

It seems the method of escaping Sac from McG is to aim for trial experience right out of the gate (DA/PD) making connections (close proximity to SF) and trying to aim for bigger gov or bay area firms.

Try your best, but be prepared to only find work in Sacramento.

As Davis students are facing more rejection in SF (ITE) you may find it harder for McG students.
