They've been talking about doing this for years. Who knows if it will ever happen, though Dean Solomon did mention at orientation that they were discussing it as a serious option.Yukos wrote:God forbid you merge the two Rutgers law schools, creating one affordable, appropriately sized law school for New Jersey...

Tulane did not decrease the size of the entering class, and that will cost it dearly. I guess prospective students will probably look forward to getting a new dean.

I demand to know where the Northwestern medians are. Who do I direct my rage towards?

A prof told me that 170 is still the LSAT median (as disclosed at a faculty meeting). Dunno about GPA.deputydog wrote:I demand to know where the Northwestern medians are. Who do I direct my rage towards?

I was hoping that the schools not yet reporting were the ones that took big hits, and were taking their sweet time prepping for the backlash. Chicago dashed those hopes yesterday though...

UChi started really late this year -- they just finished up with their orientation IIRC. The other schools could very well be holding their numbers back.

University of Texas at Austin (#16)
Enrolled: 300(-70)
LSAT: 163(-2)-167(0)-169(-1)
GPA: 3.52(-0.04)-3.67(-0.02)-3.82(0.02)

Not so sure on UT's new enrollment #, but took it from this thread (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... nUnc#gid=0) anyways.
University of Washington (#20)
Enrolled: 176(-6)
LSAT: 162(1)-164(0)-166(0)
GPA: 3.50(0.06)-3.68(0.01)-3.82(0)
UW's huge jump in the USNWR ranking indeed helped them.

I am from Texas. UT Austin got slaughtered. Happy days are here again. The bang for the buck at UT-Austin is among the best in the country.

Re: Class sizes and medians (c/o 2015)
Not available, but the acceptance rate was over 47%, the 25/75 LSAT was 156/163, and the 25/75 GPA was 3.23/3.63 -> the lowest ranges and worst acceptance rate in recent memory (at least 6 years).Lord Randolph McDuff wrote:medians?Aberzombie1892 wrote:Tulane did not decrease the size of the entering class, and that will cost it dearly. EDIT - Talk about a sinking ship.

A little off-topic, but relevant: when can we expect to find out the number of October LSAT takers? mid-December?

Historically, the stats are released a few weeks after the scores come out. Therefore, I expect the stats to be released mid-November.justonemoregame wrote:A little off-topic, but relevant: when can we expect to find out the number of October LSAT takers? mid-December?

Notre Dame's 2012 entering class medians are 166/3.66 but I don't know what the medians before that looked like.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
