Job Responsibilities:
The 2L Summer Clerk will engage in a comprehensive and immersive experience in labor and employment law. The primary responsibilities include:
- Engaging in substantive assignments that provide real-world insights into labor and employment law.
- Participating in various projects across different practice industries to gain a broad perspective.
- Observing court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and mediations to enhance understanding of day-to-day legal practice.
- Selecting assignments from a curated database, allowing exploration of individual interests and gaining diverse legal experience.
- Contributing to impactful projects that challenge both breadth and depth of legal knowledge.
- Building professional relationships through engaging and social events with the law firm team.
Education and Experience Information:
- Applicants must be rising second-year law students (2L).
- Students should be in the top 25%-30% of their class to be considered.

- Submission of a cover letter, resume, law school and undergraduate transcripts (electronic copies acceptable), and a writing sample of no more than five single-spaced pages. The writing sample must reflect the applicant’s own substantive work and should not be heavily edited by others.

Salary Information:
The salary for this position is $2,981 per week.
