Thank you everyone for all of the advice/opinions. I have everything ready and am just waiting on LORs to be returned before I apply. Is it still a better idea to fax LORs to LSAC?

Yes, faxing LORs should take a day or two, while mailed LORs can take longer to process.

I talked to the LSAC people, and they said while faxing cuts down on mailing time, they still have heaps of faxes to go through and processing time may ultimately be the same.

So up to your discretion.

I think you should have them faxed. My prof sent hers in on Wednesday morning (the day before LSAT closed for Thanksgiving and presumably a very busy time for LORs) and they were in my account an hour later.

Thank you for the help, everyone. I sent in my apps last night. Thanks to some of the advice from people here, I shot a bit higher than I was originally planning.

By the way, I had my recommenders fax my letters and found them in my account in a few hours. Thanks again for your comments, and keep them coming if you have more!

I figure someone out there might find an update interesting (unlikely, I know).

So far, I'm in at Georgetown, Duke, and NYU. Recently held at Columbia. Everyone else (the rest of the t14 minus NW and Penn): nothing.

Complete dates ranging for first week in December to first week in January at the rest of the schools. TLS is killing me by making me wonder every day why I'm not hearing anything. Quick, someone say something reassuring before I start accusing the mailman of hiding my letters.

I'm a numbers twin and I haven't heard a darn thing. Applied a little bit after you, though. I'm under review everywhere, but still in limbo. The wait is killing me.
